Meet The Maker

Becs is the dad behind Little Cheeker Apparel. He and his family live in Victoria, BC (Lək̓ʷəŋən Traditional Territory).

Becs learned to sew at an early age from his grandmother and loves that he can use that skill to share creativity with the world.

When not working his 9-5 or creating and sewing, Becs loves to rewatch shows he's seen 5 times already (like Criminal Minds or RuPaul's Drag Race), play Pokemon Go with his kids, or halfway complete projects his wife asked him to do six months ago

About Little Cheeker Apparel

My mission is to provide unique, and versitile clothing that can be worn everyday!

I discovered the small shop community when my oldest was just a baby. It all started with a pair of moccs from a local company and well... the rest is handmade history.

As my kids grew, I wanted to add 'ripped jeans' to their wardrobes but barely found anywhere in Canada that made them, all the distressed denim seemed to come from the USA. So I made my own for a few years, but wanted to share this fun fashion trend with the rest of Canada. I figured parents out there would be having the same issue finding the jeans they wanted as I once had. With that Little Cheeker Apparel opened officially in February 2019.

Since then we have done some growing. Like expanding our denim line to include patchwork jeans, adding new products like T-shirts, and tank tops, and attending local artisan markets.

I am not too sure what product we might add next, or where the next few years will take us, but I hope you'll be along for the ride with us!
